NPQ Update – Celebrating Success Across Our Region
The Shropshire and Telford Education Partnership has enjoyed a highly positive term across all NPQ programmes, with significant achievements and strong progress demonstrated by participants at every stage of their development. The continued commitment to professional learning across the region is clearly reflected in this term’s milestones and successes.
Outstanding October Assessment Success
The October assessment window brought exceptional outcomes for NPQ participants across the region. Leadership and specialist NPQ programmes collectively achieved an impressive 97% pass rate, demonstrating a strong culture of perseverance, deep engagement, and professional ambition within schools and settings.
This remarkable success highlights the high-quality learning taking place throughout the programmes, as well as the determination of participants to apply their knowledge and expertise to improve outcomes for children and young people. The Shropshire and Telford Education Partnership extends warm congratulations to all those who achieved their qualification during this assessment window.
Progress for the November 2025 Cohort
The NPQ cohort that began its journey in November 2025 has now completed the first module of their programme and is progressing into Module 2. Engagement across the group has remained consistently strong, with participants demonstrating a clear commitment to their professional development and a willingness to engage in reflective, evidence‑informed practice.
This stage of the programme provides opportunities for participants to deepen their knowledge, refine their leadership approach, and begin to embed learning into their day‑to‑day work. The continued enthusiasm and participation from this cohort is highly encouraging, and further progress is anticipated as the programme moves forward.
Best Wishes for the April 2026 Assessment Window
As the April 2026 assessment window approaches, many NPQ participants across the region are entering the final stages of their programme. Preparation activities, reflection on learning, and refinement of project work are now well underway.
