Shropshire and Telford Education Partnership Appropriate Body / Early Career Framework Welcome Event
Our first Welcome event took place on Wednesday 28th September. We were delighted with the turnout, well over 100 of you. Speakers included Sam Morris, BPN Facilitator and Senior Leader at Ercall Wood; Kelly McKay, ECF Director and Alison Pope, Headteacher at The Priory School and STEP Executive Lead. We would like to formally thank our three speakers and those that attended and supported the event.
We are pleased to introduce the newest edition to the STEP Appropriate Body/ Early Career Framework Team, Lucie Jenkins. Lucie is a highly experienced administrator who will be working alongside Rhian de Winter and assisting primarily with the Appropriate Body.

The deadline for PPR1s (Professional Progress Review 1) for first year ECTs is the 9th December. New and existing Mentors and Induction Tutors will be invited to a drop in support session with Ruth Shaw on Thursday 1st December at 4.00 should you have any queries about how to complete the form or any other general queries. This will be primarily aimed at new ECMs and Induction Tutors however everyone is welcome.
The deadline for full-time second year ECTs’ PPR4s is the 9th December. If you have any queries please contact us and we will advise you.
The registration cut-off for the Autumn has passed for Appropriate Body and ECF. Any new ECTs to your school will now commence induction in January 2022. For ECF, these ECTs will join an online- only group and will complete PPR1 at the end of the Spring Term.
